A customer brought in a burnt ball of plastic that had once been a laptop computer.

The hard drive had severe heat damage and a PCB and head assembly failure.

We performed a bit level data recovery and encountered less than 5% damaged sectors.

Once this was complete we performed a logical data recovery and we were able to retrieve approximately 96% of her files.
