Electronic Data Acquisition
The First Step
Send us the media that needs to be recovered, or DataBank Data Services will
come to you. We have the equipment necessary to obtain evidence
from:
- Tapes
- Hard drives
- Servers
- Wherever it may reside
Upon receipt of your media, we
create an image copy of the master media or originating drive
so that the
original is
not altered.
Then the analysis begins.
DataBank Data Services can also accommodate manifest logging and
other evidence tracking/handling procedures for evidences.
As with all of our forensic methodologies, DataBank Data Services'
evidence acquisition is in compliance with the US
Department of
Justice Guidelines for Searching and Seizing Computers.
